Tagalog News: PGMA kinampanya ang underground river sa Palawan

Manila (25 February) -- Hinihikayat ng Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo sa mga Pilipino dito sa Pilipinas at sa ibang panig ng mundo na iboto ang St. Paul Subterranean River National Park, na mas kilala sa tawag na underground river ng Palawan, sa Search for the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Sa ikalawang araw ng kanyang Central Philippines tourism super region legacy tour kahapon, binisita ni Pangulong Arroyo ang underground river kung saan siya namangka ng apatnapu't limang minuto.

Hinimok ng Pangulo ang lahat na hikayatin din ang kanilang mga kaibigan at kamag-anak na mag-internet at iboto ang underground river para mapabilang sa magic circle ng New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Kasama ang subterranean river ng Palawan sa shortlist na dalawampu't walong kandidato sa search. Noong Hulyo ng nagdaang taon nasa ikaapat na puwesto ang underground river, subali't ngayong Pebrero, bumaba ang ranggo nito sa ika-dalawampu't apat.

Ito na lang ang nalalabing kandidato ng bansa sa New Seven Wonders of Nature. Sa unang bahagi ng search, kasama ang Tubbataha Reef ng Palawan at Chocolate Hills ng Bohol sa mga nominado.
