No water problem for hotels during Panagbenga

Baguio City (27 February) -- Even with the danger of El Nino affecting the entire country, thousands of tourists will not drain the waters of the city.
The Baguio Flower Festival Executive Committee and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio assure enough supply of water in the city during the Panagbenga this weekend.
BFF chair and HRAB president Anthony de Leon said that the hotels in the city are assured of the enough water supply even as tourists to flock to the city for the Panagbenga street dancing and float parades that are expected to draw around two million tourists.
HRAB hotel members reported that they have over flowing number of guests and they are fully booked for the next two weeks.
De Leon said that hoteliers are operating their own deep wells and water pumps and guests are not to worry with the supply of water in the city. It would be costly for hotels to have water deliveries as their water sources, he added. (PIA) [top]
