Tagalog News: P500-M emergency funds igugugol ng Kongreso sa Mindanao

Manila (4 March) -- Isiniwalat ni House Speaker Prospero Nograles na personal niyang isinama sa 2010 national budget ang P500 million na maaring gugugulin para lutasin ang Mindanao power crisis.

Ani Nograles, ang P500 million na emergency fund ay nakasaad sa 2010 General Appropriations Act (GAA) ng National Electrification Administration (NEA). Maaari umanong maipalabas ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ang nasabing emergency fund bilang pananggalang sa mga problema na dala ng krisis.

Dagdag pa niya, nakikinita na National Power Corporation (Napocor) ang ganitong problema noong pang 2006.

Bilang kongresista na galing sa Mindanao, hindi raw siya maaaring umupo na lang at maghihintay na umaksyon ang Department of Energy (DOE) para maresolba ang problema sa krisis ng kuryente sa Mindanao.
