DOST, NOBDF to hold squash processing training and food packaging seminar
Dumaguete City (5 March) -- The Department of Science & Technology (DOST) Negros Oriental Provincial S&T Center will conduct the following S&T trainings for March 2010:
Squash Processing Training (Noodles, Ketchup, Pan de Sal, Siomai and Wanton Wrappers will be held on March 9, 2010 (Tuesday), 8:00 AM-5:00 PM at Negros Oriental Technology & Livelihood Development Center (NORTLDC), PAO Compound, North Road, Dumaguete City with a registration fee of P300 per person.
The Food Packaging Seminar with Product Clinic will on March 10, 2010 (Wednesday), 8:00 AM-2:00 PM, at Bethel Guest House (Jordan 2), Dumaguete City. Registration Fee: P200 per person.
DOST Officer Gilbert Arbon said to join the product clinic, a participant should bring product samples.
Arbon said the above seminars are being organized in collaboration with the DOST Regional Office, the DOST Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI), the Negros Oriental TLDC, the Negros Oriental Business Development Foundation (NOBDF), Negros Oriental Investment Promotion Center (NOIPC), and the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI).
