Tagalog News: NHTSPR, binibigyang mukha ang mga mahihirap sa Region XII

Manila (5 March) -- Ang National Housing Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTSPR) na bahagi ng programa ng DSWD XII, ang nagbibigay mukha sa bilang ng mga mahihirap. Ito ang pahayag ni Assistant Regional Director Gemma N. Rivera sa naganap na Regional Social Development Committee (RSDC) meeting sa DepEd XII Conference Hall sa Carpenter Hill sa Koronadal City kahapon.

Ang pangunahing layunin umano ng nasabing programa ay matukoy kung sinu-sino at saan naroroon ang mga mahihirap sa rehiyon. Isinasagawa ito sa pamamagitan ng pagclassify sa mga kabahayan ayon sa economic status at geographical targeting.

Ang phase 1 ng kanilang classification ay binubuo ng top 20 poorest municipalities. Kabilang dito ang lahat ng bayan ng Sarangani, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Palimbang, Lake Sebu at T?boli. Ang phase 2 naman ay yaong mga syudad na may below 50% magnitude of poor. Kabilang dito ang Koronadal City, Tacurong City, Kidapawan City at Cotabato City.

Ang NHTSPR ang ginagawang batayan ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program sa pagpili na kanilang magiging beneficiaries. (RMPadua/PIA 12) [top]
