Tagalog News: Medical tourism sa bansa aabot sa $3-bilyon industry sa pagsapit ng 2015

Manila (12 March) -- Pakikinabangan diumano ng susunod na administrasyon ang kinikita ng medical tourism sa bansa na inaasahang aabot sa 3 bilyung dolyar na industriya sa pagsapit ng 2015.

Sa pulong ng gabinete kamakailan, sinabi ni NEDA Director Dennis Arroyo na humigit-kumulang sa dalawang-daan libong pasyenteng banyaga ang inaasahang dadayo sa Pilipinas taon-taon na siyang tutulong sa paglago ang medical tourism ng bansa.

Ang Pilipinas ay nahahanay sa mga nangungunang bansa sa mundo sa larangan ng medical tourismkung saan patuloy ang isinasagawang renovation ng mga ospital upang matugunan at makiayon sa international standards.

Kasalukuyang mayroon 44 na ospital at health facilities sa Central Philippines tourism super region ang nagtataglay ng state-of-the-art facilities, magagaling na healthcare professional at likas na pagiging hospitable ng mga Pilipino. (pbc/PIA) [top]
