Tagalog News: DA, PLDT nagbuklod para magkapaghatid ng impormasyon sa mga magsasaka

Manila (16 March) -- Gamit ang kanilang cellphone at internet maari nang tumawag ang mga magsasaka at mangingisda sa Department of Agriculture para magtanong o humingi ng kinakailangan impormasyon.

Ayon kay Asterio Saliot, director ng Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), sa pamamagitan ng Farmers?s Contact Center (FCC) project na magkatuwang na inilunsad ng DA at ng Philippine Long Distance Telephone Corporation (PLDT), makakausap ng sinumang tatawag ang mga agricultural technicians at mga eksperto sa DA.

Ani Saliot, maaring humingi sa FCC ng impormasyon katulad ng presyo ng pangunahing produktong pang-agrikultura, schedule ng irrigation water releases, market information para sa mga produkto, paano sugpuin ang mga peste sa sakahan at marami pang iba.

Matatawagan ang FCC gamit ang Smart o Talk ?n Text sa mga numerong 391-32; kung gamit naman ay Globe, TM at Sun Cellular tumawag 0920-9462474. Gamit ang PLDT line, ang mga nasa mga lalawigan ay maaring tumawag sa numerong 1-800-10-982-2474.

Ang tawag gamit ang Smart at Talk n? Text ay babayaran ng flat rate na pitong piso at sitenta y singko sentimos (P7.75) bawat tawag sa halip na kada minuto.
