Recruitment exam for Army officers set March 25-31 in CDO

Cagayan de Oro City (23 March) -- Recruitment examinations for those who want to join the Philippine Army have been scheduled from March 25-31, 2010 at the 4th Infantry Division, PA, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro.

Conducted thru the Army Recruitment Center (ARC), the examinations will be for applicants to the Candidate Soldier (CS), Lt. Col. Eduardo L. Gases, 4ID Adjutant, said.

"There is no limit as to the number of applicants that we will entertain because we want the cream of the crop to join the Army," he said.

Applicants must pass AFPTAB exam scheduled on March 25-26, 2010 at ARC.

Gases said all applicants must be natural born Filipino citizens, not below 18 years old and not over 23 years of age by April 1, 2010, who stands at least 5'0" and above tall, single and never been married, with no criminal record or pending case, no body marking or tattoo and must be a skilled high school graduate to college level / graduate (at least 72 units).

Further, the applicants must be physically and mentally fit to undergo rigorous training.

Last day for processing of applicants is on March 31, 2010.
