Tagalog News: BIR nakalikom ng mas mataas na collection kumpara sa target ng Pebrero

Manila (31 March) -- Ini-ulat ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang ikatlong buwang sunud-sunod na pagtala ng surplus collection sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni BIR Commissioner Joel L. Tan-Torres.

Base sa unang ulat, nakalikom ang BIR ng mahigit P50.975 billion noong Pebrero ng taong kasalukuyan, mas mataas kaysa sa collection target nito sa kaparehong buwan na umaabot lamang sa P48.258 billion kung saan sumobra ang kabuuang collection ng ahensiya ng P2.717 billion sa ikalawang buwan pa lamang ng taong ito.

Nagpapakita din ito ng pagtaas sa nalikom na halaga ngayong buwan ng Pebrero kumpara noong Pebrero ng nakalipas na taon na tanging P47.405 billion lamang ang nalikom ng ahensiya.

Isang palatandaan umano ang paglampas ng koleksiyon ng BIR ng isang tagumpay at umaasa ang BIR na maaabot din ang collection target nito sa susunod na mga buwan. (BDEnestois/PIA12) [top]
