Surigao del Norte solon, Caraga Comelec chief deny NPA allegations on election fraud plan in Siargao

Butuan City (7 May) -- Following an impending threat to teachers in Siargao Island because of the spread of leaflets by group of NPAs led by Ka Jojo of Pulang Diwata Command imputing that BEIs, Cong. Francisco Matugas and COMELEC Regional Director Francisco Pobe are in cahoots of the upcoming election in the area, Cong. Matugas, in an interview with PIA denies the allegation. He said, he is pro-HOPE (Honest, Orderly and Peaceful Election) and that, he respects the vote of the majority.
Meanwhile, Dir. Pobe also denied the allegations of the leftist group saying he is bound, dedicated, and committed to uphold the integrity of the election.
With the aforementioned information, this is an evidence that the opportunists NPAs are insinuating wrong information to distort and discredit the credibility of the election in the area. (PIA-Caraga) [top]
