Initial, unofficial results released for Davao, Comval towns

Tagum City (11 May) -- Initial election results have reached the provincial board of canvassers in the provinces of Davao Oriental and Davao del Norte.

Results released as of 11:00 a.m. yesterday (May 11) were the following:

San Isidro, Davao Oriental: FOR GOVERNOR - Malanyaon, 11,914; Feliciano, 248.

FOR PRESIDENT - Estrada, 5,502; Aquino, 3,139; Villar, 2,326; Teodoro, 1,609; villanueva, 244; Gordon, 33; Madrigal, 12; Perlas, 20; delos Reyes,12 and; Acosta, 54. Total printed votes-13, 326 out of 18,159 registered voters. Results are as of 9:34 AM final count.

Banay-banay, Davao Oriental: FOR GOVERNOR- Malanyaon, 14,184; Feliciano,287.

FOR PRESIDENT- Estrada,7,375; Aquino, 3,308; Villar, 2,338; Teodoro, 1,974; Villanueva, 334; Gordon, 35 and; Madrigal, 18. Total printed votes- 15,943. Number of registered voters-20,378.

Gov. Generoso, Davao Oriental: General Board of Canvasser- Malanyaon, 16,798; Feliciano, 320;

FOR PRESIDENT- Estrada, 10,363; Aquino, 3,982; Villar, 2,512; Villanueva, 131; Gordon, 56; Madrigal 13; Perlas 32; Delos Reyes, 18; Acosta, 117. Total printed votes 20,203 out of 26,400 registered voters.

Baganga, Davao Oriental: For Governor?Malanyaon: 17,984; Feleciano, 770; For President: Estrada 10,351; Aquino 4,705; Villar 3,538; Teodoro 713; Villanueva 223; Gordon 29, Madrigal 10, Perlas 20, Delos Reyes 15.

Talaingod, Davao del Norte: For President: Estrada 2,721; Aquino 1,102; Teodoro 645; Villar 245; Villanueva 130. Vice President: Binay 2,139; Roxas 1,507; Legarda 357; Manzano 240.

Carmen, Davao del Norte: For President: PRESIDENT- Estrada, 15,222; Aquino, 6,452; Teodoro, 2,601; Villar, 987; Villanueva, 694; VICE PRESIDENT- Binay, 15,524; Roxas, 7,804; Legarda, 1,719; Manzano, 320; Bayani, 260. Registered voters-33,406 Printed Votes-26,712.

As of 12 nn yesterday (May 11) election results coming from Carmen and Talaingod of Davao del Norte reached the Provincial Board of Canvasser (PBOC) whose members converged at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan at the Provincial Government Center, Mankilam, Tagum City.

Meanwhile, PBOC Davao Oriental received 4 election results from the municipality of Governor Generoso, San Isidro, Banay-banay and Baganga.

Compostela Valley Provincial information officer Fe Maestre said PBOC Compostela Valley had yet to receive results from municipalities as of morning of May 11 but it started canvassing votes in the afternoon of the same day. (Erwin Fernandez/PIA XI) [top]
