Malaybalay City, Bukidnon (11 May) -- In an initial assessment of yesterday's election exercise, the Commission on Elections in Bukidnon expressed confidence that the automated polls is a success as reports coming from 20 towns and two (2) cities of the province showed a positive trend.
"Election personnel are experiencing only minor difficulties," said Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Joseph Hamilton Cuevas.
He said that complaints are machine-related problems, which are at manageable levels.
On the other hand, Bukidnon School's Division Superintendent Dr. Ingrid Racoma cited reports from different school officers indicating an orderly conduct of the elections in DepEd premises.
She also said that the voter's excitement to cast their votes in the computerized system made the long queues during Election Day a significant event in the country's history. (PIA Bukidnon) [top]
