Tagalog News: LENTE: Naging malaya ang automated polls sa computer hackers

Manila (13 May) -- Inihayag ng Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE) sa isang media briefing na ang kauna-unahang automated national at local elections ay malaya mula sa computer hackers.

Ayon kay LENTE chairman Christian Monsod, matibay ang pananggalang ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) at Smartmatic-Total Information Management (TIM) na hadlangan ang mga computer hackers na pasukin ang system na maaaring makaapekto sa resulta ng botohan.

Bagamat may mga ulat ng problema sa iilang lugar, pinapurihan pa rin ng LENTE ang poll body sa matagumpay na pagsasawa ng automated polls.

Sa katunayan, tinukoy ni Monsod na mayroon pa ring mga lugar ang kinakailangan pang ayusin para sa susunod na eleksiyon.

Sa kasalukuyan, nasa proseso pa rin ng pagkolekta ng mga reports at mga feedbacks ang LENTE bago pa man ito magpalabas ng post-election analysis at recommendations. (BDEnestois/PIA12) [top]
