Tagalog News: PNP pinag-iisipan ang pagpapalawig ng gun ban sa bansa

Manila (13 May) -- Pinag-iisipan ng pamunuan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang pagpapalawig ng nationwide total gun ban sanhi ng positibong resulta ng inilunsad ng Comelec sa pagbabawal ng paggamit ng mga armas sa buong election period mula noong Enero a-diyes.

Inihayag ni PNP Chief Director General Jesus Versoza na mayroong mga panawagan mula sa iba't ibang sektor ng pamahalaan sa pulisya na ipagpatuloy ang inilunsad na gun ban sa buong bansa kahit na tapos na ang election period.

Ani Versoza, magpupulong pa ang PNP sa susunod na firearms summit na may kinalaman sa iba't ibang stakeholders sa firearms industry gaya ng gun dealers, manufacturers at kahit mga may-ari ng nasabing industriya. (BDEnestois/PIA12) [top]
