Feature: Free education for visually-impaired children

Davao City (15 May) -- The Christian Society for the Prevention of Blindness and Rehabilitation of the Blind, Inc. called on parents of visually impaired children aged 6 to 14 years old, to avail of free elementary and high school education for their children.
CSPBRBI Executive Director Rodolfo Kintanar said that the Davao School for the Blind and Rehabilitation Center for the Visually Impaired which is located at Bago Aplaya, Toril this city, is now accepting blind elementary and high school students.
Kintanar said the free education comes with free board and lodging. He said that their main goals for this program are for blindness prevention and rehabilitation.
Via email, the CSPBRBI also announced schedules of visits of its staff to social welfare offices of various municipalities in the western part of Mindanao:
