LTO designates office for license transactions in Negros Occidental

Bacolod City (19 May) -- The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has designates various offices for the issuance and renewal of licenses of drivers and would be drivers.

For plain renewal of unexpired licenses, that are not more than three years and application for student permit licenses, applicants may transact with the following offices: Cadiz City and San Carlos City district offices; and in the south, at the Himamaylan District Office and Pontevedra extension office.

In Bacolod City proper, transactions may be made at the Negros Occidental Licensing Center, Cottage Road, Bacolod City; and at the Drivers License Renewal Center at Robinsons Department at Lacson Street, for plain renewal of Licenses.

All other driver?s license transactions may be had in any of these LTO offices except for the DLRC and Pontevedra extension office.

The designation of offices is aimed at decongesting applicants at the Negros Occidental licensing center and reduce expenses of applicants. (LTO/PIA/cad) [top]
