PNP gears to secure enrollment in Nueva Vizcaya

Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya (May 21) -- The Nueva Vizcaya Philippine National Police(PNP) here is now set to carry out its manadated program to protect and secure schools in the province from the threats of criminal and terrorist elements.
"We have already prepared our plan for the coming enrollment period which is expected to invite criminal elements in doing their nefarious activities," Police Senior Supt. Pedro Danguilan,Jr., police provincial director said.
He added that they will be mobilizing their personnel to be stationed in public and private schools inorder to secure the safety of school officials, students and parents.
He said among the common illegal activities done during the enrollment period are drug peddling, intoxication and street fights among others.
He however said that they are not discounting the possibility of kidnapping and extortion activities that might be perpetrated by criminal elements.
"That is why we are always asking our parents and students to be vigilant always in going and coming out of the school premises. We should always have companions," he stressed.
Danguilan said various sumposiums are also on the pipeline to orient students specially those new in the school including teachers and parents on the proper actions and procedures inorder to prevent the commission of crimes in their respective learning institutions and residence.
