Cebuano News: Consumer laws i-apil na sa DepEd curriculum

Manila (1 June) -- Gilusad niadtong Lunes sa Department of Education kon DepEd ug Department of Trade and Industry kon DTI ang Integrated Consumer Education Program kon ICEP.

Usa ka flagship program sa DTI, sa pakigtambayayong sa DepEd, kining programa sa edukasyon nagtinguha pagdugang sa public awareness nga matagaan og saktong kasayuran bahin sa consumer laws ug pagdasig sa mga tinun-an sa ilang katungod isip konsumidor.

Kining maong baod base sa Republic Act 7394 kon Ang Consumer Act of the Philippines. Ang DepEd ug DTI maoy mo implementar sa mga provisions sa RA 7394.

Ipasulod sa DepEd ang mga practical approaches sa consumer law concepts sa mga tinun-an sa pribado ug publikong tunghaan sa high school ning school year 2010-2011.

Matud pa ni Education Secretary Mona Valisno nga ang Integrated Consumer Education Program nagtinguha sa pagdugang sa consumer awareness ug pagtudlo sa mga kabataan pinaagi sa kaugmaran sa education materials ubos sa consumer welfare protection.

Atol sa pormal nga paglusad, ang DTI nanghatag og 98 ka Lesson Exemplars kon LEs ug 10 ka modules sa consumer education ngadto sa DepEd para pag implementar niini. (PIA-Bohol) [top]
