Tagalog News: De Castro pabor na italagang DILG Secretary si Binay

Manila (18 June) -- Pabor si outgoing Vice President Noli de Castro na italaga bilang Secretary ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) si Vice President-elect Jejomar Binay.

Sa harap ng mga mamahayag sinabi ni de Castro kahapon na kung siya ang Presidente, ibibigay niya kay Binay ang posisyon dahil sa mahabang karanasan ng huli bilang local chief executive ng Makati. Dapat umanong isaalang-alang ang katotohanang si Binay ang unang alkalde na nahalal sa ikalawang pinakamataas na posisyon sa pamahalaaan.

Ani de Castro kung ano ang nagawa ni Binay para mapaganda ang Makati, kaya rin niyang gawin sa bong Pilipinas.

Ginawa ni de Castro ang pahayag matapos ang kanilang meeting sa opisina ng Pangalawang Pangulo.

Samantala, umaaasa si de Castro na ipagpapatuloy ng susunod na administrasyon ang kanyang adbokasiyang pabahay para sa mga mahihirap at overseas foreign workers.

Tiwala rin siya na ipagpapatuloy ni Binay ang kanyang adhikain na bigyan ng boses ng Bise Presidente ang mga mahihirap at mga OFWs.

Sa pagtatapos ng kanyang termino balak ni de Castro na bumalik sa larangan ng broadcasting. (DE Doguiles/PIA 12) [top]
