Tagum sets executive-legislative agenda

by Cromwell Bonghanoy

Davao City (25 June) -- Mayor Rey Uy of Tagum City spends quality time recently with his legislators at Waterfront Hotel for the Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) for the term 2010-2013 to set the goal of his administration and to cater the priorities of the Sanggunian.

Vice Mayor Allan Rellon consolidates the platform of government under their administration to set up the standing Committees of its Sanggunian members to facilitate and fast-track the services of the city government.

With all their aspirations and enthusiasm to serve, they have looked into the shelter assistance of its constituents, the improvement of relocation sites, the strict implementation of building provisions in the city and subdivisions road network system, the opening of roads to decrease traffic, the installation of streetlights, the efficiency of garbage collection, the construction of satellite wet market and home economics building in schools, and the completion of the new city hall.

Proclaimed on May 12 by the City Board of canvassers, Tagum's set of officials will take their oath on June 30, 2010 at Tagum Cultural and Trade Center by 9:30 in the morning to be administered by City Prosecutor Noel Palma. (CIO TAGUM) [top]
