Lanao del Norte elected execs swear in mass oath-taking

Tubod, Lanao del Norte (29 June) -- Witnessed by the constituents of the so-called the Land of Beauty and Bounty, elected officials representing the two (2) legislative districts, the governatorial and from the 22 municipalities have sworn-in their oath of office converging at the Mindanao Civic Center in Tubod, province of Lanao del Norte.

June 28 has been a historic event in our province because this is the first to happen that in one venue officials have re-affirmed their commitment in a manifesto to serve their respective constituency, setting aside the realm of politics, said outgoing Representative Abdullah D. Dimaporo of the 2nd District of Lanao del Norte.

Judge Oscar V. Badelles administered the oath of office for the two Representative-elect Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo and Fatima Aliah Q. Dimaporo, for the 1st and 2nd legislative districts, respectively.

While re-electionists Gov. Khalid Q. Dimaporo and Vice-Gov. Irma Ali, along with some new and second termers Board Members of the 1st and 2nd districts simultaneously sworn-in with the administering officer.

Gov. Dimaporo administered the oath-taking of the municipal officials, except for the two (2) municipalities of Pantao Ragat and Maigo.
