CDO vet posts P187-T fees
Cagayan de Oro City (8 September) -- The City Veterinary Office collected last month P187,632.50 in ante mortem and post mortem service fees.
In her report, senior meat control officer Darryl D. Que said a total of P24,680.00 and P162,925.50 were generated from ante mortem fees and post mortem fees, respectively.
The collections came from basic fees on 8,011 animals slaughtered that include 810 cattle, 33 carabaos, 6,319 hogs, 782 goats, 47 horses, and 20 ostriches.
The City Vet further reported a total of 1,098.9 kilograms of condemned organs from 334.1 kg hogs liver, 259.7 kg hogs lung, 392.6 kg cattle liver, 20.8 kg cattle lung, 84.2 kg carabao liver and 7.5 kg carabao lung. (City Information Office) [top]
