Quirino students show talents on bar tending, commercial cooking
Cabarroguis, Quirino (September 14) -- Selected students of three college institutions in the province showed to the public their skills and talents on bar tending, commercial cooking including food beverage services during a skills presentation held at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall last September 9.
The presentation of skills is one of the lined-up activities planned by the executive committee in order to encouraged other students who have hidden talents and skills but ashamed to show are encouraged to participate to such endeavor and show to the world that there are Quirinans who are possessing and excelling on technical and vocational skills.
Selected college students from Maddela Institute of Technology (MIT), Quirino State College (QSC) and Quirino Polytechnic College (QPC) have shown their respective talents in bar tending, commercial cooking and food beverage services which awed the audience mostly employees of the provincial government.
In bar tending, three students prepared different liquor mixtures that suits the taste of would-be-customers while students who have done commercial cooking cooked delicacies that is captivating to the tongues of would-be-customers and students in food beverage servicing showed the proper approach to customers, taking food orders, delivering food orders observing always courtesy to customers.
The presentation of skills activity was spearheaded by the Technical Education and Development Authority (TESDA) - Quirino Provincial Office in cooperation with the higher education institutions of the province. (PIA Isabela) [top]
