PNoy to visit Cebu
Cebu City (14 September) -- President Benigno Aquino III will be in Cebu tomorrow to keynote the Regional Economic Managers' Briefing and Dialog at the Marriott Hotel, Cebu City.
About 150 participants from the various business chambers of commerce and industry in Central Visayas, academe, and the media are expected to attend the economic briefing.
To meet the President are the secretaries of the Departments of Finance, Cesar Purisima; Trade & Industry, Gregory Domingo; and Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama.
After the President's message, he is expected to have a brief and informal interaction with the Manila and local media.
He will then proceed to a Presidential Forum with Cebu Volunteers at 2:00 p.m. at the Cebu Coliseum, Sanciangko Street, this city.
About 4,000 members from the ?Noynoy-Mar' Volunteers in Cebu are expected to attend the activity and listen to the message of the President.
Atty. Democrito Barcenas, president, Noynoy-Mar Volunteers in Cebu gives the welcome address while the president of Youth Yellow Army, Erwin Andaya will present a Manifesto of Support for the President from all the volunteers in Central Visayas.
