SPUD concludes confab on strategic planning

Dumaguete City (23 September) -- The St. Paul University Dumaguete recently conducted an Institutional Strategic Planning Workshop for its administrators, department heads and managers, faculty academic team leaders and coordinators, chaplains, stakeholders and partners.
The workshop held at Bohol Plaza Resort and Restaurant in Panglao Island from September 9 to 12 aimed at enabling the university to craft a plan for new strategic directions and level off the institution to the trends and demands of its partnership with stakeholders, said Rafael Duhaylungsod, SPUD Director for External Affairs, in a statement.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Roberto T. Borromeo of De La Salle University-Manila whose expertise lies on the field of human resources development, private education finance, strategic corporate planning and educational management.
Borromeo was also a former president of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE) and consultant to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Duhaylongsod said that the workshop was anchored on the theme: "Paulinian Education: The Womb and Wings of the Word." (PIA/rmn) [top]
