He assured full partnership of his administration saying just inform us of what is expected of us, in what way we can help, what interventions we can give if only to propel economic growth in our community.
To advance economic activity in Tabuk, an ordinance on Local Investment Incentives Code is now being deliberated at the Sangguniang Panlunsod, Tubban said as he expressed optimism that the ordinance will be for implementation by next year.
Tubban also rolled down his peace and order plan for Tabuk making it a haven to investors. I am emphasizing peace in my priorities knowing it is crucial to business and any activity for that matter to take place, he said.
He cited initial efforts of the local government of Tabuk on the promotion of business with the establishment of the National Economic Research and Business Action Center (NERBAC) at the city hall.
Part of Tabuk's assistance in support in trainings and livelihood projects all aimed to address basic needs of micro-entrepreneurs in the locality, Tubban disclosed.
On the business side, Tubban appealed for honest payment of fees and taxes, underlining this as primary source of life for the LGU.
'As you well know, tax is the fuel that allows our government to continue going in providing service to our people', he stressed.
The mayor assured everyone that his office is open to whatever help the business community may ask for as long as we mean service to the people and our place. (PIA-Kalinga) [top]
