Pangasinan Mayors' League officers take oath

Pangasinan (10 Nov) -- Officers of the League of Municipalities -Pangasinan Chapter formally took their oath of office yesterday at the newly refurbished Sison Auditorium in the capital town of Lingayen.

Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. was the guest of honor and speaker and inducting officer of the 44-strong group.

President-elect Rodrigo Orduņa of Bugallon town rallied his fellow mayors to unite as they are the chosen leaders of their town mates. He urged them to set aside politicking and think for the progress of the entire province.

The rest of the officers are: Executive Vice- President - Ernesto Castaneda (Lingayen); Vice- Presidents- 1st district Ruperto Martinez (Infanta); 2nd district- Lorenzo Cerezo (Binmaley); 3rd district ? Carlito Zaplan (Sta. Barbara) ; 4th district Herminio Romero (Mangaldan) ; 5TH district Manuel Collado (Alcala) ; and 6th district Carlos Trece Mapili (Tayug).

Secretary-General is Mayor Irene Libunao (San Fabian); Treasurer- Heidee Chua (Asingan); Auditor ? Libradita Abrenica (Villasis); Business Managers- Mina Joy Pangasinan (Sison) and Silverio Alarcio (Laoac) ; PRO ? Mark Roy Macanlalay (Calasiao) and (Ricardo Revita (Rosales); and Legal Counsel Carlos Trece Mapili (Tayug).
