Tagalog News: GRP peace panel handa nang makipag-usap sa MILF

Manila (10 November) -- Handa na ang government peace panel na muling simulan ang negosasyong pangkapayapaan kasaman ang panel ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

Sa Sixth Mindanao Media Summit kamakailan, sinabi ni Miriam Coronel Ferrer, miyembro ng GRP panel, na handa na sila na umupo sa negotiation table bagama't mayroong ilan pa silang concerns sa proseso sa pagpapa-facilitate, dahilan para maantala ang agarang pagsisimula sa pag-uusap.

Paliwanag ni Ferrer, sa anumang negosasyon kailangang komportable ang bawat panig sa imprastraktura ng pag-uusap na makatutulong sa kanila na tumagal sa negosasyon.

Naniniwala si Ferrer na ito rin ang nais ng MILF panel.

Bilang sagot sa mga batikos na umano'y hindi dibdiban ang pagsisikap ng pamahalaang Aquino na simulan na ang peace negotiation, sinabi ni Ferrer na seryoso ang gobyerno sa intensyon nito na makakita ng political solution sa matagal nang Bangsamoro conflict bilang mahalagang bahagi ng governance at security agenda ng Aquino Administration.
