Tagalog News: Malakanyang natuwa sa maagang pagpasa ng Kamara sa 2011 budget

Manila (10 November) -- Ikinalugod ng Palasyo ang maagang pagpasa ng House of Representatives ng P1.645 trillion reform budget ng pamahalaang Aquino para sa 2011.

Inihayag ni Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte na nagpaabot na ng pasasalamat ang Malakanyang sa mga mambabatas, partikular kay House Speaker Sonny Belmonte, House Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales II, at Committee on Appropriations chair Congressman Jun Abaya na instrumental sa pagpasa ng proposed budget.

Ayon sa Pangulo, ang 2011 budget ay binuo upang gawing konkreto at makatotohanan ang mga minimithing pagbabago sa lipunan.

Sa ilalim ng 2011 budget, P207.3 billion ang nakalaan para sa Department of Education, P110.6 billion ang sa Department of Public Works and Highways, at P104.7 billion ang sa Department of National Defense.

Samantala, P88.2 billion naman ang nakalaan para sa Interior and Local Government, P37.7 billion sa Agriculture, P34.3 Billion sa Social Welfare and Development, P33.3 billion sa Health, P32.3 billion sa Transportation and Communication, P16.7 billion sa Agrarian Reform, at P14.3 billion sa Justice.
