Central Luzon most wanted surrenders to authorities

Camp Olivas, City Of San Fernando, Pampanga (12 November) -- On November 10, 2010 at about 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon another most wanted person in the country voluntarily submitted himself to authorities.

The surrenderee, a certain Raymond Dominguez Y Santos, alias Mon, an alleged leader of a carnapping syndicate, has a standing warrant of arrest in criminal case no. 2787-M-2009 issued by Hon Basilio R Gabo Jr, presiding judge of RTC, Branch 11, Third Judicial Region, City of Malolos, Bulacan dated September 16, 2009 with no bail recommended.

Santos' syndicate, the Dominguez Carnapping Group, is known to operate in Region 3, 4 and NCR areas. The syndicate also includes his brother Roger Dominguez, aka Ogie.

During the period of imprisonment of "Ogie" in Bulacan Provincial Jail since his arrest sometime in the month of August 2010, Raymond was featured in different television news for involvement in series of carnapping incidents which led to the massive manhunt operation against the latter.

With these developments, Ogie was reported to be deeply concerned with the safety of his brother and sought the assistance of Bulacan Police Provincial Office and the Bulacan Provincial Jail warden to plan and finalize the surrender of Raymond Dominguez.

At the appointed date, Raymond, single and a native of Iba Este, Calumpit, Bulacan eventually surrendered. (PIA) [top]
