Cebuano News: Aquino nanganti nga ipadayon ang pagpitol sa kurapsyon bisan pa sa mga kalangan

Manila (Nob. 12) -- Subling gipadayag ni Presidente Benigno Aquino III ang iyang kasibot sa pagpitol sa corruption bisan pa man sa Supreme Court order karong bag-o nga nag-limit sa masakopan sa Executive Order batok sa mga midnight appointments.

"I still hope that the Supreme Court heeds the call of the majority for judicial prudence, and promote justice with dignity, rather than pander to the influence of those who are itching to return to their old corrupt routine," ang Presidente nagkanayon sa iyang mensahe pagbukas sa P 2.5 billion Radisson Blu Hotel sa Cebu.

Gitumbok sa Presidente nga sa miaging bulan, ang taas nga hukmanan nag-isyu og status quo ante order nga nag-limit sa scope sa Executive Order 2. Gi-isyu ang EO 2 aron sa pag-recall, withdraw o laksion ang midnight appointments nga gihimo sa unang administrasyon.

Ang Presidente miingon nga ang SC order gipagawas sa panahon nga ang public confidence sa gobyerno nagtikataas.

"Closure is what we need. We cannot have a cloud of doubt hanging over an entire chapter in our nation's life, as it would only corrode our institutions, it will also embolden those who brazened it out in the past, to not only enjoy the fruits of their crimes but plot their comeback," nagkanayon ang Presidente.
