Tagalog News: Batangas-wide junior encampment, idinaos

Batangas City (26 November) -- May 700 mag-aaral na grade 1-3 mula private at public elementary schools sa Batangas City ang nakiisa sa isinagawang Citywide Junior Encampment na ginanap noong ika-19-21 ng Nobyembre sa Open Field ng Tinga Labac Batangas City.

Sinabi ni Ana Marie De Castro, council executive ng Girls Scout of The Philippines (GSP) Batangas City, kada taon ginagawa ang ganitong activities upang magkaroon ng bagong kaalaman ang mga batang scouts na makakatulong sa positibong paghuhubog ng kanilang pagkatao.

Itinuturo dito ang pakikipag kapwa tao, pag kilala sa kulturang Pilipino, pagmamahal sa sarili, at respesto sa ibang tao. Mayroon ding physical at cultural activities kagaya ng hiking at folkdancing at maging livelihood skills kagaya ng polvoron-making.

Nagdaos din ng seminar tungkol sa media awareness at team building kasama ang mga guro ng paaralan. (PIO Batangas City/PIA Batangas) [top]
