PDEA-10 nabs three suspected drug pushers in Valencia City

Cagayan de Oro City (27 November) -- In time of the culmination of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week Celebration in the province of Bukidnon yesterday, November 26, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in region 10 led by its Regional Director, Lt. Col. Edwin F. Layese (Ret) conducted search and seizure operations at Valencia City.

The operation resulted to the arrest of the three (3) suspects namely: Analou Lumanog, female, 30 years old, married, jobless; Myrna Lumanog, female, 47 years old, married, jobless; and Ramonita Quintero, female, 41 years old, married and jobless. All residents of Purok 2 Poblacion, Valencia city and included in the Target Listed Drug Personalities in Region 10.

The arrest is under search warrant nos. 035-10, 036-10 and 037-10 issued by Executive Judge Josefina Gentiles Bacal of Regional Trial Court Branch 10, Malaybalay City.

Recovered from Analou Lumanog were seven (7) pieces heat sealed transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; from Myrna Lumanog were five (5) pieces heat sealed transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; and from Ramonita Quintero were twelve (12) pieces heat sealed transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.

Arrested suspects are now temporarily detained at PDEA-10 for booking and documentation while seized drug evidences were brought to PNP Crime Laboratory for qualitative and quantitative examinations.

Case for violation of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing appropriate charges in court. (PDEA 10) [top]
