Butuan Bishop gives stand on reproductive health bill

Butuan City (30 November) -- Most Rev. Juan de Dios Pueblos, Butuan City Bishop and lead convenor of Caraga Conference for Peace and Development (CCPD) emphasized the importance of promoting pro-life which signifies its resistance to reproductive health (RH) bill.
The bishop said, life is holy and we should be responsible in preserving it. Bishop Pueblos made his closing remarks during the "Symposium for Peace" held Tuesday, November 30 at Saint Peter's Seminary College Social Hall, as part of the celebration of the 2010 Mindanao Week of Peace in Butuan City.
The forum indirectly aims to inform the church leaders and clergies of its stand against the controversial RH Bill which is now seeking its approval from the legislators at the House of Representatives.
