New teachers to take oath December 10
Baguio City (6 December) -- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that oath-taking ceremonies of the successful examinees in Baguio City will be on Friday, December 10, 2010, 9:00 AM at the University of Baguio Gym, Assumption Road, Baguio City.
According to Evangeline Marilyn VC. Vergara, Director in Charge of PRC Baguio, out of 7,287 examinees in Baguio City, 1,846 or 25.33% successfully hurdled the test with seven examinees landing in the Top Ten. Nationwide, 17,261 out of 76,652 examinees or 22.52% passed the examination.
Among the topnotchers for the elementary level are Judy Ann Kimo Bolayo of Saint Louis University who ranked No. 1 with a rating of 86.00 percent; Vergilio Aquino Macapas II of E. L. Joson Memorial College with a rating of 84.60 percent is at No. 4 and at No. 5 is Geemae Perez Arcangel of Pangasinan State University-Sta. Maria.
At No. 7 is Jonathan Igualdo Gayaso of Benguet State University-La Trinidad (84.00); No. 8 - Mary Ann Tanque Agsaoay of Don Mariano Marcos State University- Agoo (83.80) and at No. 9 is Alvin Saad Estabillo from Wesleyan University-Philippines Cabanatuan City (83.60)
For the secondary level, the lone topnotcher is Danni Loven Acquiapat Fulwani of Benguet State University-La Trinidad who ranked No. 7 with a rating of 86.40 percent.
Initial registration started on November 23, 2010. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Requirements for the initial registration are Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2010 Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate; two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag); One piece 1"x1" picture (colored with white background and complete name tag); one short brown envelope and one for the Oath Form.
The new teachers should also pay an initial registration fee of P600.00 and annual registration fee of P450.00 for 2010-2013. (PIA) [top]
