Tagalog News: DepEd at DFA inilunsad ang Postcards Across ASEAN Project

Ang Department of Edu

Manila (9 May) -- cation (DepEd) sa pakikiisa ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at ng Singapore embassy- Maynila ay nanguna sa ginawang launching ng “Postcards Across ASEAN” upang maitaas ang kamalayan ng ASEAN lalo na ng mga elementary students sa South East Asia at upang maitaguyod ang common regional identity.

Ang nasabing activity ay pinangunahan ni DepEd secretary Jesli Lapus at Undersecretary Vilma Labrador at DFA Assistant secretary Luis Cruz kasama ang iba pang mga ASEAN dignitaries mula sa Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos at Thailand.

Samantala, mayroon namang labinlimang (15) namumukod tanging post card entries mula sa bansang Pilipinas ang napili kung saan ang mga awardess ay nabigyan ng certificate of recognition, McDonalds gift check, at isang drawing kit.

Ayon kay Lapus, ang mga winning entries mula sa mga ASEAN countries ay maglalaban upang makamit ang outstanding postcards sa rehiyon. Ang pinakamagandang postcards at iba pang winning entries ay mananalo ng cash prize, habang ang mga outstanding entries naman ay mabibigyan ng pagkakataon na maisali sa exhibit sa gaganaping ASEAN Summit sa Singapore sa katapusan ng taong ito.
