Palace official lauds SoCot's hosting of BIMP-EAGA Local Government Forum

Koronadal City (21 November) -- Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza commends the provincial government of South Cotabato for its successful hosting of the recent 2nd BIMP-EAGA Local Government Forum.

South Cotabato Gov. Daisy Fuentes conveyed this with delight among capitol employees, after a Thanksgiving celebration for the victory gained during the BIMP-EAGA held in the province.

In an interview, Dureza thanked the Local Officials of South Cotabato led by Gov. Daisy P. Avance-Fuentes who spent a significant time and effort in the preparation of this international event.

Gov. Fuentes has been eyeing endless economic opportunities by strengthening linkages through this BIMP-EAGA assembly.

Dureza added that, "this is an opportunity for South Cotabato to promote the place to the neighboring countries." (PIA 12/aca/jergen) [top]
