POEA to conduct 4th employment permit system for Korean language test

Cebu City (2 October) -- In its continued goal of helping Filipinos find jobs abroad, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Central Visayas will conduct the 4th Employment Permit System - Korean Language Test (EPS-KLT) on October 29, 2006 which will be simultaneously done in Cebu, Manila, and Davao. Today, POEA are still finalizing the specific venues for the said examination in these places.
POEA Regional Center for Visayas Director Evelia Durato said that registration of interested applicants for the Korean Language Test is strictly and exclusively undertaken by Cebu, Manila , and Davao POEA offices. The registration of applicants will officially start on October 4, 2006 (Wednesday) and will end on October 13, 2006. Registrants will be entertained between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, from Monday until Friday.
Those who are planning to take the test must first pre-register at the POEA Regional Center for Visayas located at the Mezzanine Floor, LDM Building , M.J.Cuenco Avenue , Cebu City , or at the POEA Regional Center for Mindanao located at the 2nd Flr., AMYA II Bldg., Quimpo Blvd. , cor. Tulip Drive, Ecoland, Davao City, or at the POEA Main Office, located at the Ground Floor, BFO Bldg., EDSA Cor. Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City.
In a press statement, the POEA Regional Center for Visayas stressed that the registration of applicants for the KLT not handled by any of the POEA Offices mentioned above is unauthorized and therefore deemed illegal.
