Butuan nutrition office implements health programs

BUTUAN CITY (October 2) -- The City Nutrition Office continues to implement health programs to improve the health condition of the Butuanons and to lessen the cases of malnutrition among children.
According to City Nutrition Officer Ms. Nena Loquias, the City Nutrition office is also maintaining the implementation on Fresh Milk Feeding to elementary pupils in the barangays.
"Among the elementary schools in this city, record shows that there are already 20 thousand students known to be below in normal health condition," Loquias said.
Loquias, therefore encourages the people to be health conscious enough in order for them to be physically fit and prevent them from diseases. (PIA-13) [top]
