In the individual category, five nominees made it to the finals composed of two each from Luzon and Visayas, and one from Mindanao.

Visayas region awardees are by Concepcion Municipal Mayor Raul Banias of Iloilo and Noel Joseph Machon, a Secondary School Principal of Looc National High School in Romblon, while National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region 10 Director Casimira Balandra was the sole awardee in Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the Farmer-Scientists Training Program (FSTP) in Community-Based Production System for Sustainable Agricultural Development of the College of Agriculture in UP-Los Baños Laguna won the group category and shared the award with the Municipal Health Office of Sta. Marcela, Apayao.
