Bunye
Manila (3 October) -- Attributing it to the overall discipline and spirit of enterprise of the Filipino, Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesman Ignacio Bunye confirmed that the peso is indeed rising.

Amidst the good news, the Secretary also disclosed that the Philippines is now reaping global confidence for the sound stewardship of reforms, tough decisions, and growing political stability.

In view of these economic feat, the Arroyo government vowed that it flow down the macroeconomic gains to every family that has a role on building up the economic foundations of the country.

The peso pierced through the P49-against-a-US dollar rate recently and is predicted to gain more strength by economists in due time. (PIA-MMIO) [top]
