CDIO League advocates Palarong Pambansa 2007

Koronadal City (4 October) -- The League of Community Development Information Officer (CDIO) of South Cotabato moved to advocate the hosting and holding of Palarong Pambansa here in Koronadal City.

In a meeting held just recently at Philippine Information Agency, Regional Office 12, Domingo Siloterio Information Officer of T’boli and President of the CDIO League said “With the help of PIA we will do all our best efforts to advocate to all municipal mayors and sangguniang bayan of South Cotabato the holding of Palarong Pambansa”.

“It is not only the business of Koronadal City, but all the people most especially all the municipal and provincial officials here in South Cotabato,” Siloterio added.

The league is planning to visit every municipality in the province of South Cotabato in the effort to motivate every mayors and sanggguniang bayan members to fully support the holding of Palarong Pambansa in Koronadal City on 2007.

The league also invites and urge all municipalities who have cottage industry to produce, display and sell souvenir items, preserved and processed food, canned goods and fresh fruits and flowers during the Palarong Pambansa, so that South Cotabato will be known as maker of these stuffs.
