Tagalog News: Malacaņang determinadong ipatanggal ang mga delikadong billboards

Koronadal, South Cotabato (5 October) -- Sa kabila ng mga pag-apela at pagsalungat ng mga billboard owners at advertisers, determinado ang Malacaņang sa pagtanggal ng mga ito na isa ring banta sa maraming buhay at mga ari-arian nakapaligid.

Ayon kay Press Secretary Igancio Bunye ang problemang ito ay nangangailangan ng kaukulang pansin ng mga taong responsable dito at kung anong dapat gawin para mailayo sa sakuna ang mamamayan.

Ipinag-utos din ni Pangulong Arroyo sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na siyang responsable sa pagkuha ng mga delikadong billboards kasama ng National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) at Local Government Unit para tukuyin ang mga lugar na ligtas paglagyan ng mga billboards.

Magpapalabas naman umano ang Pangulo ng isang Executive Order na magpapatibay pa ng mga existing laws and regulation kaugnay sa pagpapatayo ng mga billboards sa bansa. (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
