Tagalog News: MILF nakahandang bumalik sa negotiating table

Koronadal, South Cotabato (6 October) -- Walang kautusan ang pamunuan ng MILF sa mga kasapi nito na maghanda para sa pakikipaglaban bunsod ng break down ng pinakahuling peace talks sa pagitan ng GRP at MILF kamakailan.

Ayon kay MILF vice-chair for political affairs Ghadzali Jaafar, hindi na kinakailangan ang anumang kautusan dahilan sa laging handa ang kanilang mga miyembro katulad lang din ng ibang armed forces. Umaabot diumano sa 12,000 ang miyembro ng MILF sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng Mindanao na pawang armado, ayon kay Jaafar.

Inamin ni Jaafar na sila ay nagsasagawa ng pagpupulong sa iba’t-ibang MILF camps upang ipaalam sa kanilang mga tauhan ang mga mahahalagang kaganapan particular sa isyu ng GRP-MILF peace talks.

Mas nanaisin pa rin ng MILF na daanin sa negotiations ang usapang pangkapayapaan sa Mindanao, diin ni Jaafar.

Nauna nang nagpahayag ng nakahandaan at determinasyon ang Malacañang na isulong ang naudlot na GRP-MILF peace talks. (pbc/PIA 12) [top]
