Non-Catholics may join NYD '06
Davao City (7 October) -- National Youth Day (NYD) Chairman Dennis Villegas said that non-Catholics are invited in the most awaited youth gathering here.
He said that though Catholics are the ones facilitating the event, their main objective is to gather young Filipinos to show them that the church loves them.
"Hopefully, BISHOP ULAMA will be sending Muslim youth to represent the Islam", Villegas stated.
Davao Archdiocesan Youth Coordinating Apostolate (DAYCA) is expecting 10, 000 delegates from different organizations, schools, parishes and other religions to join. (Catherine Caņada, NYD-MRP) [top]
