NPA attack list: Who's next?

PANACAN, DAVAO CITY (7 October) -- After torching the Banana Packing plant in Paquibato the NPAs are once again out for a terror spree this time they burn one unit of Weena bus while moving in its route and a businessman gunned down while plying along the streets of Maco.

The NPAs have become more brazen in terrorizing industries and businessmen, not minding civilian losses and economic letdown just to attain their ultimate goal which is chaos.

The series of extortion activities and assail on business establishments that bails in paying revolutionary tax, are an indication that the CPP-NPAs have become more desperate in accumulating funds to finance their war against the government troops.

The AFP and the PNP reiterates its sincere call to all business establishments as well as the general public to report incidents of NPA harassments and sabotage. Industries must also be vigilant and more resilient in these abuses because the more they give in to their atrocious demands the more it will sustain the NPA's terror acts. The government forces also added that the cooperation of the general public in our defense against threats to our peace and development. (5th CRG News) [top]
