Tuguegarao City (9 October) -– The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 02 will join the 32nd Philippine Business Conference and Exposition (PBC&E) on October 18-20 at Manila Hotel.

This is a corporate gathering of about 4,000 decision makers and industry leaders from a network of 100 local chambers nationwide, 125 industry associations and 37 bilateral business councils worldwide.

The 32nd Philippine Business Conference & Exposition is a premier business event which will bring the government and private sector to dialogue on critical issues affecting business and the economy of the country. It will also serve as a venue for networking among delegates offering participating companies a chance to showcase their products and services to a wide audience.

This year’s theme, "One. Global. Filipino. Selecting Global Opportunities" will bring to fore the role of “sunrise industries” in propelling the development of business and our economy.

Emerging as a great opportunity for Filipino entrepreneurs, the Exposition of 32nd PBC will feature the Philippine Sunrise Industries like Mining, Agro-industry, Tourism, Construction/Property, Information Communication Technology, Fashion and Health Care. Other sectors to be highlighted are Local and International Investments Opportunities and Retailing and Franchising Opportunities.

During the event, DOT Region 02 will set-up a six-square meter corporate booth showcasing the destinations of the Cagayan Valley Region. It will provide guests and participants a glimpse of what the region has to offer in terms of tourism destinations, products and services.

Meantime, Archbishop Diosdado Talamayan, D.D., and Msgr. Samuel Baculi, Vicar General & Parish Priest of Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Piat, have given their permission for the replica of Our Lady of Piat to be showcased at the Manila Hotel in order to provide Marian devotees a chance to experience Her Maternal presence during the event.
