NYD extends registration
Davao City (11 October) -- The National Secretariat for Youth Apostolate (NSYA) extended the deadline for the registration of delegates for the upcoming National Youth Day to be hosted by Davao City.
Based on its internal standard, a youth delegate should be from 16-39 years old. Those who are below 18 should submit their parents' consent. No age range is required for the youth ministers that include priests, nuns, brothers, theology teachers, and campus ministers.
As of the latest count, total national delegates reaches 4,088 while local delegates hit 2, 375. The expected number of delegates from Luzon and Visayas is 4,000 counts, from Davao,
Digos, Tagum and Mati, 4, 000 heads, while Mindanao regions excluding Tagum is given 2, 000 slots. The National Youth Day is a World-Youth Day inspired festival which aims to gather the Filipino youth, to deepen their faith and for the church to show love and care for them.
