Gen. Razon calls NDF human rights chair Agcoili a liar
Quezon City (11 October) -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) yesterday called NDF human rights chair Fidel F. Agcoili a liar for denying that 21 cases of political killings have been resolved in the last two months.
“Agcaoili’s shrill denunciation of the resolution of 21 cases of political killings by Task Force Usig is a shameful smear propaganda of a veteran bourgeois CPP cadre,” said PNP Deputy Director General Razon, Jr.
Razon pointed out that the resolution of the cases is the result of a thorough investigation, with the cooperation of witnesses who came forward to assist the police.
“The duplicity and brazen lies of Agcaoili are like daggers that further inflict the fatal wounds of treachery against the victims of their bloody purges and ideological cleansing,” he said.
He added that the CPP should stop telling lies because the apprehension and filing of charges in court actually gives the suspects the chance to defend themselves in the court of law, “unlike in the CPP kangaroo courts where the accused – based on mere suspicions – stands no chance to prove his innocence.” (PNP/PIA) [top]
