CFC reaches out to needy Estehanons

Borongan, Eastern Samar (14 October) -- Today, when health care just comes secondary to food and other basic needs, more and more people look up for assistance, donations, even medical services of religious and civic organizations just like the community of the Couples for Christ (CFC).

Backed up by a 22-member medical team, CFC Borongan Chapter once more gave out its best generous gesture of conducting a three-day medical mission a the Eastern Samar Provincial Hospital, where some 277 indigents availed of free consultations.

Nurse and Technical Staff, Mrs. Esther Chan of the Provincial Health Office revealed that about 110 patients consulted qualified the screening for surgical operation and 50 were operated/ removed of their ailment which varied from: Herniorrhapy, Cheiloplasty, Catarct, Thyroidectomy, Pelvic lap and Ptyregioum.
